Couples and individual therapy that can make a difference
I work with warmth, skill and care. It might not be your usual comfort zone, but I will put you at your ease and make sure you get the most out of your sessions.
WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE DO I SEE?
Clients often come to me when they are thrown one of life’s awful curve balls. They are usually thoughtful, articulate people who get things done and cope. But then something hits them and they realise that they need a bit of help to start enjoying life again.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
I have nearly a decade of therapy experience, and I know what’s needed to create a friendly, comfortable space where clients feel relaxed enough to find the right words to describe exactly how they’re feeling and express things they haven’t quite articulated before. And then, together, we will notice patterns and work out how to dismantle the ones that aren’t working for you any more.

HOW DO I WORK?
When we’ve worked out what is getting you down, I’ll be able to offer you frameworks and approaches that will help you see the problem more clearly. Then we can explore practical ideas that will work for you and help you feel better again.

I am a Humanistic counsellor which allows me to tailor my approach to each client, drawing on different theoretical approaches and techniques. I use my experience and training to support clients to feel empowered to make changes and live life more fully. However, I’m not an expert on you or your story: that expert is you. Sessions will be guided by what you want to achieve and taken at your pace. Whatever you share with me will be treated respectfully and in confidence.

I know from experience that getting therapy with the right person at a challenging time can be life changing.

MY SPECIALISM - INFERTILITY AND MISCARRIAGE
Many years ago I had had multiple IVF rounds, miscarriages, surgeries and navigated donor conception. I thought I was coping pretty well, then I had a heartbreaking still birth. I was fortunate enough to be offered a course of therapy sessions with an amazing counsellor, that made a world difference to me. So much so, that I eventually retrained to be a counsellor.

I see clients for a huge range of issues, but my experience has lead me to specialise in supporting men, women and couples through pregnancy, baby loss, infertility struggles, miscarriages, IVF, donor conception and surrogacy. I know how profoundly these things can effect your well being and relationships.

Sessions cost £75 to £85 for individuals and £130 to £145 for couples.
